Emphasis is placed on fundamental research aimed at strengthening INSISOC scientific network connection nationally and internationally. That was consistent with a considerable effort of relationship and network with scientists and experts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project had <strong>two pillars<\/strong>, corresponding to two national competitive projects: <strong>ADAPCOMP <\/strong>and <strong>SICOSSYS<\/strong> (Agent-based Tools for Complex Social Systems Modeling and Simulation), both funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this project we explored and developed new <strong>methodologies for multi-project management environments<\/strong> that exceeded the limitations of previous methodologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Specifically, we explored agent-based methodologies (<strong>multi-agent systems<\/strong>) and programming through the analogy of <strong>\u00abcombinatorial auction\u00bb.<\/strong> We also developed substantial improvements in the monitoring and control of <strong>multi-project environments<\/strong>. We developed and implemented models that reflect the results of previous research and its results were validated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It took as its starting point <strong>two hypotheses<\/strong> related to the use of distributed computational methods that were eventually <strong>confirmed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Computer models based on agents are a <strong>valid methodology<\/strong> to address the problem of multi-project scheduling environments.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Models based on the analogy with social and market mechanisms <strong>allow modeling the complexity <\/strong>of the problems of <strong>\u00abreal\u00bb multi-project programming.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=\u00bb1_2&#8243;
