Joaquín Adiego, Ph.D., has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Valladolid since 1999. In 2004 he reached the degree of Doctor in Computer Science by the University of Valladolid, obtaining the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize. He carried out research stays for a total of one year at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Chile (Santiago, Chile), a reference centre in the field of Information Retrieval, under the supervision of Gonzalo Navarro, Ph.D.
